Campus History
Established in 1956, Sallie Curtis Elementary School was named for Sallie Curtis, an Elementary School Teacher who taught in South Park ISD (Beaumont ISD) Schools for more than 35 years. She typically taught Mathematics, but was known to be able to handle any other subject as well. She was remembered by her students as being a strict teacher, but one for whom they held tremendous respect for.
